Yes its true. you can demo a Nokia Lumia (both 800 & 710) like you own it. Nokia's official Facebook page is letting you demo a Nokia Lumia. The app lets you tap around the screen to either watch the demo video or have a realistic trial.

After you choose to go with the second option, you are given Lumia screen where you can tap to discover more from Nokia music, Xbox Live to Microsoft Office.

Nanapho.jp has managed to find the hardware diagnostics app in the Nokia Lumia 800.

The app can be used to test whole array of different function of your phone. There are similar kind of tools for other Windows Phones, but i don’t know if the “code” is always the same.The app allows one to verify that hardware is functional, including the compass, accelerometer, speakers,Bluetooth, camera, LEDs and so forth.
